New editing layout on iPad

We’re continuously building new capabilities on your VML Platform and Apps to enable even better editing, branding, management, and distribution of video.

This month we are pleased to announce the introduction of a new iPad Editing Suite! This new feature has a range of elements sure to enhance user experience and results. These include:

• The utilisation of the iPad’s stunning display capabilities.
• Users can now see their project at all times while editing. While in fullscreen mode, the toolbar is easily accessible on the left-hand side of the screen, with an accessible and convenient “tap to open and close” dynamic.
• Using Split View, editors are able to open another App while editing and scale it to their desire. This feature is particularly useful as it enables easy back-and-forth from, for example, a project and the “Notes” app.
• This Suite is a step toward future editing updates surrounding the easy insertion of clips or images to a project coming from an external camera or library.
  

This addition to our Platform is an easy-to-use, efficient and sleek addition to our iPad user experience, and paves the way for future updates in this arena.

New Export Option for Android 

For Android users, we have introduced a new and user-oriented video flattening service. This allows any video from within your VML Platform to be exported and stored on the user’s device provided the correct channel permissions are granted for export. To do this, select the project that you want to download from within the Android app, select “Download Link” as your export option, which will then email you a download link where you can easily add it to your gallery.
